KTPS worker dies by suicide in Kothagudem
The deceased, Manohar was said to have laid down on a railway track used for transporting coal to the power station at Banjara Colony near Karakavagu in Paloncha mandal and his body was cut into pieces as a goods train passed over him
Kothagudem: A man working as artisan at Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) fifth phase plant in the district allegedly died by suicide on Tuesday.
The deceased, Manohar was said to have laid down on a railway track used for transporting coal to the power station at Banjara Colony near Karakavagu in Paloncha mandal and his body was cut into pieces as a goods train passed over him.
The reasons for his extreme step were not known. The local police visited the spot, booked a case based on the complaint of the deceased man’s family members and launched an investigation into the incident.
