Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of making corruption the hallmark of the Congress government, following allegations by RVM Constructions MD Nama Ramesh of a 15 per cent commission demand in Radial Road-2 tenders.
“The Congress government in Telangana revolves only around corruption. It doesn’t start with a government employee taking small bribes, it starts with the Chief Minister himself,” Rama Rao said in a post on X.
Referring to to Nama Ramesh’s representation to Builders Association of India (BAI), the BRS working president said a company’s managing director giving it in writing that the Chief Minister’s Office demanded 15 per cent commission and the Chief Minister himself allotting projects to his cronies, indicated a rotten system.
Accusing Revanth Reddy of neglecting public welfare, Rama Rao said the former’s only goal was to destroy Telangana to build his Anumula Empire. “Rahul Gandhi is silent as Revanth is his ATM. Wonder why Narendra Modi won’t act?” he asked.
In his letter, Ramesh alleged irregularities in the tender process and sought the Builders Association of India’s intervention.
