Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao held Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy responsible for crippling Telangana with reckless decisions and targeting officials for revealing uncomfortable truths. He slammed the Chief Minister’s alleged action against officials who prepared the latest Telangana State Statistical Abstract (Atlas) report which revealed the State’s progress under the BRS regime.
Taking to X, Rama Rao said the stark contrast between BRS’s visionary governance and the Congress’s failures has been exposed, in the report. He charged the Chief Minister with attempting to erase the State’s decade-long progress under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao by manipulating facts and suppressing reports. He suggested the Congress government to stop hiding its failures behind “petty antics” and focus on governance instead of attempting to rewrite history.
The former Minister lambasted the Congress government for bringing Telangana which is India’s top-ranked per capita income State to the brink of financial crisis with its foolish decisions. He ridiculed attempts to erase Telangana’s achievements by removing reports from websites and punishing officials for political gain.
“Political vendetta against the opposition was not enough, now the Chief Minister is harassing bureaucrats as well,” he remarked. He warned that no one could erase Telangana’s golden decade of agricultural and industrial growth under Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership.
