Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao condemned the NEET question paper leak and called it a matter of shame for the Central government. He demanded a high-level investigation into the episode and sought re-conduct of the exam at the earliest.

Accusing the NDA government of failing to conduct examinations in a foolproof manner, Rama Rao said the repeated leaks had jeopardised the future of nearly 23 lakh students who prepared tirelessly and appeared for the national eligibility test this year across the country. He stated that the Centre failed to learn any lessons from a similar paper leak in 2024 and subjected students and their parents to severe mental stress.

“Over 100 questions were leaked a day before the examination, exposing glaring systemic failures and leading to its cancellation. This recurring incompetence has become a curse for students and their families,” he said.

The BRS working president demanded that the Centre order a high-level probe and ensure strict punishment for all those involved. He also sought re-conduct of the NEET exam at the earliest with foolproof arrangements. He wanted the Central government to take full responsibility and apologise to students and parents for the mental agony caused.
