KTR condemns alleged police attack on Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar at MGM Hospital

BRS working president KT Rama Rao condemned the alleged police attack on former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar at MGM Hospital in Warangal and demanded a comprehensive probe and strict action against those responsible, while seeking better treatment for injured patients.

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao condemned the alleged police attack on former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar at MGM Hospital in Warangal on Tuesday. Holding the government responsible for the incident, he demanded a comprehensive probe and strict action against the police personnel responsible.

Reacting to the alleged attack, Rama Rao said Vinay Bhaskar went to the hospital to meet patients injured after ceiling portions fell in the facility, but was stopped by police. He accused the police of kicking the former MLA in the abdomen and assaulting him, resulting in a fractured hand. He demanded that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who also holds the Home portfolio, answer for the incident.

He said the government should respect the rights of public representatives to visit and enquire about people’s problems. He also urged the government to ensure better treatment for the injured patients and immediately address security concerns at MGM Hospital.
