Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday condemned the reported killing of 165 schoolgirls in Iran amid escalating hostilities involving Israel, the United States and Iran.

Sharing images of mass funerals on his official X account, Rama Rao termed the incident as horrific and haunting. He stated that a girls’ school was allegedly hit during joint airstrikes by Israil-US, leading to the deaths of 165 students trapped under the rubble.

Calling it a man-made tragedy, he said no objective could justify the suffering inflicted on civilians. “No matter what the stated purpose is, this is a man-made tragedy which leaves nothing behind but suffering and misery for ages to come,” he remarked.
