Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao condemned the attack and arson at the party office in Manuguru, allegedly carried out by the Congress workers. He called it a shocking display of lawlessness under the current regime.

Expressing deep anger over the incident, Rama rao said rowdyism and political violence had become the new norm in Telangana since the Congress came to power. “The rule of goons has taken over the State. From villages to the State capital, anarchy is spreading unchecked under the Congress rule,” he said.

Soon after learning about the attack, he spoke to BRS district president Rega Kanta Rao and extended solidarity to the local cadre. He said the entire 60 lakh-strong BRS family stands firmly with the party cadre in Manuguru. “Do not be afraid of the Congress rowdies and their anarchy. Their arrogance and violence will not last long. The day this anarchy ends is near,” he assured, adding that he would soon visit Manuguru to meet the affected party members.

BRS leaders from Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts also condemned the attack, demanding strict action against those responsible for setting fire to the party office and urging the government to restore law and order in the region.
