Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao strongly condemned the attack on former BRS MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy by followers of Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in a government office in Nalgonda, in the presence of police. He criticised the Congress government for failing to ensure safety even for differently abled leaders.

He said while the attackers went scot-free, the police arrested Bhupal Reddy and took him to Nampally police station. Highlighting the incident as an example of Congress’s anarchy, he demanded the DGP register cases against those responsible for the attack.

He also accused the Congress of stifling dissent by denying permission for the Nalgonda Rythu Maha Dharna.
