Hyderabad: BRS Working President K T Rama Rao has condemned the attack on Huzurabad MLA Kaushik Reddy by the police.

The incident occurred when Kaushik Reddy and BRS workers staged a protest questioning the delayed release of the second phase of financial assistance to the beneficiaries of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.

KTR criticized the police for acting recklessly and showing no regard for Kaushik Reddy’s position as a sitting MLA. He questioned the state government’s approach, seeking to know from the government whether Indiramma Rajyam stands attacking public representatives just for questioning the government?

Lashing out at the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government, KTR accused it of being incompetent in fulfilling its promises and resorting to violence against those who dare to question its inefficiencies.

Unable to implement the promises, the spineless Revanth government has resorted to unleashing attacks on those who ventured to question, KTR remarked, calling the government’s actions a form of cultural decline.https://telanganatoday.com/tag/padi-kaushik-reddy

KTR also warned the police officers involved, stating that their overaction to please the government would not go unpunished once BRS is back in power.

He further claimed that Revanth Reddy was fearful of Kaushik Reddy’s consistent efforts to hold the government accountable, and that this fear has resulted in a vendetta against the MLA.

Referring to a recent incident where a BRS MLA was allegedly attacked by Congress workers, KTR pointed out that this was another attempt by Revanth Reddy to target Kaushik Reddy, but the MLA stood firm. Using the police force to attack Kaushik Reddy shows the cowardice of this government,” KTR added.

KTR condemned the government, stating that they had never seen such a cowardly regime that resorts to violence when questioned. “I strongly condemn this attack on Kaushik Reddy. The BRS cadre will never be intimidated by such acts of aggression,” he asserted.

He demanded immediate action against the police officers involved in the attack on Kaushik Reddy and called for the release of all BRS activists who had been arrested during the incident.
