Hyderabad: With early trends in Delhi Assembly election indicating BJP’s victory, BRS working president KT Rama Rao took a sarcastic jibe at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and congratulated him for helping the BJP.

“Congratulations to Rahul Gandhi for winning the election for BJP, yet again. Well done,” Rama Rao said on X.

Congrats to Rahul Gandhi for winning the election for BJP, yet again!

Well done 👏 https://t.co/79Xbdm7ktw

The BRS working president was responding to a video post on X. In the old video, Rama Rao is seen explaining to the audience at a programme as to how the Congress could not stop BJP’s victory march.

The BRS working president asked why Rahul Gandhi was not fighting hard in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar. On the other hand, the Congress MP was trying to meddle with one power, the BRS, which was stopping the BJP, he said.

Rama Rao also said Rahul Gandhi was the biggest asset and activist of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As long as Rahul Gandhi was active, Modi would continue taking unilateral decisions, he said.

“The only forces which are holding Modiji and BJP in the country today are regional parties and strong regional leaders like KCR, Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee. Where did Rahul Gandhi find the spine to face Modiji?” Rama Rao stressed.
