Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao lashed out at the Congress government over its indifference to the victims of tragic industrial fire in Pashamylaram of Sangareddy district on Monday. At least 12 workers lost their lives and many others sustained critical injuries.
In a post on X, Rama Rao said not a single Telangana Minister had visited the victims yet despite the deaths. Instead, he said with their swift response, BRS leaders led by former Minister T Harish Rao, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar and Zaheerabad MLA Manik Rao, were actively supporting victims and their families on the ground.
Taking a swipe at the Congress leadership, he remarked, “If this was the Miss World pageant, the Chief Minister and his Cabinet would have been happy to camp there.”
He said the ruling Congress had no concern for the lives and livelihoods of the poor and industrial workers.
