Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K T Rama Rao has clarified that he has not authorised the formation of any organisation in his name and has asked supporters to refrain from running such bodies or joining them.
The clarification came after his attention was drawn to certain groups operating under names such as “KTR Seva Samiti” and “KTR Sena”, besides other organisations allegedly formed by invoking his name.
In a statement, Rama Rao said that no organisation has been granted permission to function in his name and asserted that such initiatives would not be encouraged under any circumstances. He urged the public to note that these entities have neither recognition nor approval from him.
Appealing to party workers and admirers, he said that those interested in public service or political activity should join the BRS and work strictly within the party framework. He called for an immediate halt to activities being carried out in his name outside the party structure, reiterating that any genuine support for him should be channelled only through the party platform.
