Warangal: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has come to the rescue of a student who faced the risk of losing an MBBS seat due to his poor financial condition.
The student, Ganesh of Warangal, lost his parents and siblings at a young age and was brought up by his grandmother. He recently secured an MBBS seat, and to join the Medical College, he had to pay Rs. 1.5 lakh as tuition fee and deposit by October 6.
Ganesh was not in a position to pay the amount. Failing to pay on time could have meant losing his seat. He sought help on X, and responding to his request, Rama Rao announced on his Twitter handle that he would assist him.
As promised, Rama Rao learned the details of Ganesh through former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and arranged Rs. 1.5 lakh as immediate assistance. Vinay Bhaskar handed over the amount to the student. Rama Rao assured that he would support Ganesh’s studies in the future as well.
