KTR gifts laptop to IIT student, assures fee support
BRS working president KT Rama Rao presented a laptop to Gadadas Abhinav, who secured admission to IIT-Varanasi, under the 'Gift a Smile' initiative. He also assured financial assistance for the student's higher education and congratulated him on his achievement
Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Monday extended support to a student from Sircilla who secured admission to IIT-Varanasi under the ‘Gift a Smile’ initiative by presenting him with a laptop and assuring him of financial assistance for his higher education.
Gadadas Abhinav, who secured admission to IIT-Varanasi, met Rama Rao in Hyderabad along with his parents, Lakshminarayana and Srilatha. Congratulating the student, the BRS working president felicitated him with a shawl and encouraged him to focus on his studies, make his parents proud and excel in life.
He also assured Abhinav, who hails from a weaver family, that he would bear his college fees. Abhinav and his parents thanked Rama Rao for his support.
