Hyderabad: Marking the tenth anniversary of T-Hub, BRS working president and former IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday credited it as the cornerstone of Telangana’s emergence as India’s startup powerhouse.
Recalling that November 5, 2015, marked the launch of T-Hub under the leadership of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Rama Rao said the initiative laid the foundation for a robust innovation ecosystem that transformed Hyderabad into the Startup Capital of India.
“T-Hub was just the first step,” he said.
He stated that the ecosystem expanded with the creation of WE-Hub, Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC), T-Works, Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), the Emerging Technologies Wing and the Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH), making Telangana innovation ecosystem unmatched in the country.
Quoting industrialist Ratan Tata who described T-Hub as the face of modern India, Rama Rao said the evolution of T-Hub from humble beginnings to a globally recognised platform was one of his proudest achievements as IT Minister. He congratulated T-Hub for empowering hundreds of startups, driving innovation, and helping tech startups realise their full potential.
