KTR, Harish Rao floral pay tributes to Ande Sri
BRS working president KT Rama Rao and senior leader T Harish Rao paid homage to noted Telangana poet and lyricist Ande Sri at Professor Jayashankar Stadium, Lalapet. KTR said Ande Sri’s writings and songs would forever remain part of Telangana’s cultural legacy.
Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao paid his last respects to renowned Telangana poet and lyricist Ande Sri at the Professor Jayashankar Stadium in Lalapet. Expressing deep grief over his passing, Rama Rao said Ande Sri’s writings and songs would remain immortal in Telangana’s history and cultural identity.
“His death is an irreparable loss to Telangana’s literary and social fabric,” he said, offering condolences to the bereaved family. He recalled Ande Sri’s unmatched contribution to the cultural movement that inspired the statehood struggle.

Several senior BRS leaders including Talasani Srinivas Yadav, G Jagadish Reddy, C Laxma Reddy, T Padmarao, and V Srinivas Goud, along with MLAs, MLCs, and former public representatives, joined in paying their final respects to the late poet.
