Hyderabad: The Bodrai Mahotsavam was celebrated with great fervour at Hamali Basti in Secunderabad on Sunday, attended by BRS working president KT Rama Rao, former Ministers T Harish Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud, and several local leaders. They received a grand welcome with drums and bonams as festive spirit filled the streets.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao hailed Talasani Srinivas Yadav as a leader who stands by people in every hardship and said the difficulties faced by people over the last two years would end only with the return of a BRS government.
“If you want good days to return, tell your relatives and friends in Jubilee Hills to vote for the Car symbol on November 11,” he said, urging voters to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming Jubilee Hills bypoll.
Extending festival greetings, Harish Rao said Bodrai Mahotsavam celebrations symbolised unity beyond caste and religion. “In villages, everyone celebrates this festival together. It is good to see that spirit alive in Hyderabad,” he said, hoping that Telangana would get rid of its bad conditions and the State would regain its past glory.
