Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao stepped in to help bring home the body of party activist Vislawath Babya, who died of heart attack in Saudi Arabia, ensuring his bereaved family could perform the final rites. The BRS activist’s family thanked Rama Rao and Anjaiah Yadav for their support during distress.

Babya, a staunch BRS supporter from Hemlanayak Thanda in Shadnagar constituency, had gone to Saudi Arabia a year ago for livelihood after the Congress government came to power. He passed away on May 27, due to a severe heart attack.

Facing difficulties with Saudi regulations, Babya’s family feared they might not see him for the last time. Former MLA Anjaiah Yadav brought the matter to the BRS working president’s attention, who immediately took up the issue with External Affairs Ministry officials and provided the Indian Embassy with necessary details.

Even while on an overseas trip, he remained in touch with the family and party leaders to monitor the situation. Thanks to his intervention, Babya’s body reached his native village on Thursday, where his family performed the funeral.
