Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister KT Rama Rao along with Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy launched a health scheme for 5,051 Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) employees and their families.
Under the scheme, medical treatment coverage of Rs 3 lakh per year would be extended to the employees and their families. To this effect, the government will be paying an annual premium of Rs.6.78 crore.

On Monday, the MAUD Minister tweeted, “Telangana Government values all its employees and their well-being”. Similarly, the health scheme is also extended to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) employees.
