KTR pays tributes to Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas
On Dr B.R. Ambedkar’s 69th death anniversary, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao paid tributes, citing Article 3’s role in Telangana’s creation. The party highlighted its work for upliftment of oppressed sections, marked by Ambedkar’s 125-foot statue and Secretariat naming.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar’s death anniversary, grand tributes were paid by the BRS to the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao, paying paid rich tributes to Ambedkar on his 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas, said Article 3, incorporated in the Constitution on Ambedkar’s initiative, had greatly contributed to the formation of Telangana as a separate State.
The nine-and-a-half-year BRS rule progressed on the path shown by Ambedkar for the upliftment of oppressed sections. Not only was a 125-foot statue of Ambedkar installed in the heart of Hyderabad city, but the then Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, also bestowed the highest honour upon him by naming the new Secretariat after him.
On the occasion of Ambedkar’s death anniversary, he called for rededicating ourselves to the realisation of his ideals.
