KTR provides financial assistance for suspended cop’s sister’s marriage
Upset over the suspension, the suspended constable had attempted suicide by dousing himself with petrol

Karimnagar: BRS working president KT Rama Rao fulfilled his promise of providing financial assistance for a suspended constable’s sister’s marriage.
A resident of Gangipalli of Manakondur mandal, Srinivas was working as constable in Telangana State Special Police 17th Battalion, Sircilla. However, he was recently suspended for participating in the agitation by TGSP constables and their families. Upset over the suspension, he had attempted suicide by dousing himself with petrol. Srinivas met Rama Rao during the latter’s visit to Sircilla two days ago and poured out his troubles before the BRS leader. Responding immediately, Rama Rao spoke to the cop’s mother and assured to provide financial assistance for her daughter’s marriage.
As the marriage was scheduled on November 14, Rama Rao arranged Rs 3 lakh.
BRS district president GV Ramakrishna Rao, former MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao and others handed over the cash visiting the house of Srinivas on Tuesday.
