Hyderabad: Amid reports about Tesla’s plans to establish its manufacturing unit in India, BRS working president KT Rama Rao raised concerns that Telangana was not under consideration for the prestigious project. It is rumoured that the States of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka are frontrunners for the project.

Taking to X, Rama Rao questioned the use of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Ministers’ entourages touring the US and other countries. He was outraged that the State government made no efforts to even draw Tesla’s attention to Telangana even for consideration. “What a shameful turn of events for a progressive State (like Telangana)?” he lamented.
