Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday accused the Congress government of crippling vital infrastructure works, citing the stalled construction of 15 bridges across Musi River.
Taking to X, Rama Rao said in January 2022, the BRS government had sanctioned Rs 545 crore for the construction of 15 bridges across Musi River, each spanning 150–200 metres, to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity for Hyderabad residents.
“We had initiated the works and they were progressing well. But after the Congress came to power 20 months ago, works are progressing at a snail’s pace. Not a single bridge is anywhere close to completion,” he said.
Slamming the state administration, the former Minister said incompetence and apathy have truly become the hallmark of the Congress regime, calling it a hopeless government with hopeless governance.
