KTR reaches Dallas, gets grand welcome
He will attend the BRS sliver jubilee and Telangana State Formation Day celebrations scheduled at the Comerica Centre in Frisco, on Sunday at 4 PM (June 2, 3 AM IST).

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao received a rousing welcome from BRS NRI USA representatives and scores of Telangana NRIs upon his arrival in Dallas airport as part of his three-day US tour.
He will attend the BRS silver jubilee and Telangana State Formation Day celebrations scheduled at the Comerica Centre in Frisco, on Sunday at 4 PM (June 2, 3 AM IST). Party leaders, former Ministers, and public representatives will join the celebrations. On the next day, he will interact with students at the University of Texas, Dallas before returning to India. He is expected to return to Hyderabad on June 4.
Meanwhile, Rama Rao wrapped up his UK tour on a high note, after successfully showcasing Telangana’s development model and interacting with Telangana diaspora in UK. Upon reaching the UK on May 27, he received a grand welcome from Telangana NRIs at the airport in large numbers. He visited BRS NRI leader and former Film Development Corporation chairman Anil Kurmachalam, who is recovering from a heart procedure.
On May 28, he held strategy discussions with the BRS NRI UK unit leaders and praised their decade-long contribution to the Telangana movement and development narrative abroad. He also met the UK Telugu Business Council and entrepreneurs, urging investments in Telangana irrespective of political power.
The BRS working president delivered a keynote at the Bridge India Week 2025 conference, where he outlined Telangana’s inclusive growth model, and called on global investors to see Telangana as a top destination on May 30. On the next day, he inaugurated the PDSL Knowledge Centre at Warwick University, celebrating Telangana talent powering global automotive giants like McLaren and Jaguar.
While leaving for the US tour, he thanked the Telangana NRIs for their support, reaffirming that the party’s mission for Telangana will continue.
