Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Telangana BJP leaders including its State president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, for shielding Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy who belongs to the Congress. “BJP and Congress are playing dirty politics to save their mutual interests. It is a drama enacted by fellow thieves jointly,” he said.

In response to the BJP’s night stay in Musi project affected areas, Rama Rao questioned Kishan Reddy’s sudden concern for the victims of the Musi River rejuvenation project, calling it a ploy to divert attention from the Lagacherla incident, where farmers have been protesting against alleged land acquisition for a private pharma company.grabs. “You were the first to hail HYDRAA and congratulate Revanth Reddy on Musi River rejuvenation project, while we stood with the victims. What changed now?” he asked.

The BRS working president charged the BJP with abandoning the Lagacherla farmers, claiming their newfound focus on Musi victims is an attempt to deflect public anger and protect Revanth Reddy. “These poli‘tricks’ will not fool the people of Telangana. Both BJP and Congress will face the consequences at an appropriate time,” he warned.
