Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao lashed out at the BJP-led Central government for inviting tenders to auction equipment from the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) factory in Adilabad as scrap. He charged both the BJP and the Congress with failing Telangana.
Criticising the Centre on X on Friday, Rama Rao stated that the BJP government refused to set up a steel plant in Bayyaram, and was now selling off the existing CCI factory at Adilabad. He slammed the eight BJP MPs and eight MLAs from Telangana for remaining silent and questioned why Congress’s 64 MLAs and eight MPs were not opposing the move.
“They neither demand new industries nor protect the existing ones,” he said, blaming both parties for neglecting Telangana.
The BRS working president said the Congress government in the State was focused on demolishing private properties, while the BJP at the Centre was busy selling public properties.
“These parties care only about votes and seats, not Telangana’s interests, development and aspirations,” he added.
