Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao lashed out at the Congress government for reducing Telangana to a circus under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. While the government deprived internet connectivity to lakhs of people in Hyderabad, it failed to supply fertilisers to scores of farmers in rural areas, he said.
Condemning TGSPDCL for snapping internet cables across Hyderabad without notice to service providers or customers, Rama Rao said lakhs of netizens were hit, disrupting the Work-from-Home (WFH) system and throwing daily life into chaos. He pointed to aggrieved netizens expressing anguish on social media.
“If there is an issue with cables, there must be a proper process. But a clueless government resorts to knee-jerk actions. Elect a clown, expect a circus,” he remarked.
The BRS working president also pointed at the grim picture in rural Telangana, with slippers lined up in one place, Aadhaar cards in another, and pattadar passbooks elsewhere. He said such scenes could be witnessed across the State, with farmers, despite standing in serpentine queues at fertilizer shops before dawn, struggling to obtain a single bag of urea.
“The incompetent Congress regime has dragged Telangana back to the old days of misery, making the farmers look helpless,” he said.
