Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led State government, for undermining the construction of one lakh double bedroom houses under the BRS regime. He said while the previous BRS government built houses for the poor, the Congress government was focusing on destruction.

Pointing out the construction of one lakh double-bedroom houses in Hyderabad under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao‘s leadership, Rama Rao called it proof of the BRS government’s commitment. He condemned the Congress for spreading venomous lies by calling one lakh double bedroom houses as sham. “With Musi River as witness, KCR’s one lakh double-bedroom houses stand tall in the city. Congress accused us of deceiving the people, but did these houses just appear overnight?” he questioned.

The BRS working president lambasted the Congress for spreading misinformation. He wondered whether the Congress is unable to accept the fact that KCR’s promises had been fulfilled. “KCR’s one lakh double-bedroom houses are real, and so are his promises. Your conspiracies and lies cannot undo the truth of our work,” he added.

Rama Rao advised the Congress against peddling falsehoods and trying to cover up their own failures. “KCR’s constructions speak for themselves. Don’t spread lies again,” he warned, accusing the Revanth Reddy government of undermining development for the people of Telangana.
