Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao took a dig at the Congress, condemning its spokesperson’s derogatory remarks on Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma. He said body shaming, derogatory comments, and delusional statements, were a hallmark of the Congress.
Taking to X on Tuesday, Rama Rao found no reason why many were getting riled up over the Congress spokesperson’s comments on Rohit Sharma.
“To think Rohit Sharma needs fitness advice or sermons on achievements from a Congress spokesperson, is of course the cruel joke that gets passed off as politics,” he remarked.
I don’t see a reason why many are getting riled up over Congress spokesperson’s comments on Rohit Sharma?!

The BRS working president also took a swipe at a Telangana Minister, stating that she was facing court proceedings for her cheapest and most derogatory comments on film stars and their families. He was indirectly referring to Minister Konda Surekha who is facing charges for her derogatory and defamatory remarks, against Telugu actors.
“This is their level of gutter politics,” he said, adding, “Rohit bhai! As a fellow Indian, I apologise for the vileness you had to endure. You are an absolute rockstar, and no silly politician’s opinion can tarnish your reputation.”
