Hyderabad: In a heartwarming gesture, BRS working president KT Rama Rao attended the wedding of Navitha, daughter of senior BRS activist, the late Dhanaboyina Narsimlu, of Narmala village in Gambhiraopet mandal on Sunday. He said his presence at the wedding of the party activist’s daughter was not a political gesture but a personal responsibility as a brother.
Navitha lost both her father and senior BRS activist Dhyanaboyyina Narsimlu, and her elder brother Naresh. While Narsimlu had worked for the party throughout his life, Naresh met with an accident and was declared brain dead on August 16. The family donated his organs through Jeevan Dhan.
“Every girl seeks her father’s blessings and brother’s support at her wedding. Having lost both, Navitha turned to me. Her invitation was not just a card; it was trust and hope. As a brother, it was my duty to share her happiness,” he said.
He described the moment as deeply moving and symbolic of the party’s bond with people.
“Our connection with the people of Telangana goes beyond politics. Such occasions remind us that we are one family,” he said, extending his wishes to Navitha and her husband, Sanjay, for a happy married life. He also assured that the BRS would continue to stand by the family.
