Hyderabad: BRS working president K T Rama Rao lashed out at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for humiliating farmers and making them suffer under the Congress rule without supplying fertilisers.
Sharing a photograph of a farmer asleep in a queue beside a pile of footwear while waiting for a fertiliser bag at a Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) in Atmakur of Wanaparthy district, Rama Rao called it the Oscar award for the incompetence of the Congress government.
“Revanth, whether you frame this photo and hang it on the wall or around your neck, it is your record of failure. You have thrown farmers’ lives on the street for a bag of urea,” he charged.
The BRS working president said never before had rulers pushed farmers into such indignity. He stated that farmers were now forced to live in serpentine queues because of the government’s inability to ensure a timely fertiliser supply.
