Hyderabad: In a veiled attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who stated that extending assistance under Kalyana Lakshmi and constructing double-bedroom houses was not innovative thinking, BRS working president KT Rama Rao questioned what innovative thinking truly meant.
Was it promising the moon before the elections and deceiving the people after coming to power, or taking vows in the name of God and failing to uphold them? Was it assuring the fulfillment of six guarantees in 100 days while sidelining them, or enacting new dramas to divert the public’s attention and manage headlines? he asked on X.
Rama Rao also inquired whether encouraging the defection of MLAs, then denying their entry into the party, or allocating land meant for the installation of the Telangana Talli statue to impress Delhi bosses were what Revanth Reddy considered innovative thinking. He pointed out that claiming credit for the 30,000 jobs filled by the previous government, boasting about this achievement, and failing to construct a single double-bedroom house in the past while falsely claiming to have built 15,000 was part of Revanth Reddy’s version of innovative thinking.
Rama Rao’s hard-hitting, sarcastic retort on X also highlighted how Revanth Reddy’s “innovative thinking” involved criticizing family rule in the past while misleading people about crores of investments being made by his brothers. He also mentioned extending Rs. 6,000 crore of public money to an ineligible company owned by his brother-in-law.
“Announcing that Pharma City was scrapped at public events but deceiving the High Court judges that it was not scrapped. Demolishing the houses of the poor at will and sparing own brother’s house,” Rama Rao went on adding to the list, which in turn evoked interesting replies from other X users.
AVC Baga Rao, an X user said: “Constructing is routine, demolition is innovative. Failing to fulfill promises is innovative…”
@MR1BRS, another X user said: “Innovative thinking was all about facilitating companies that came to invest in our State to relocate themselves to other States…”
Karthik Duggu, an X user added: “6 guarantees? Dhoka. Rythu Bandhu and Runa mafi Govinda? Thulam Bangaram? Dhoka. Asara pensions? Dhoka. No administration. Failed government in Telangana…”
