KTR to handover 330 2BHKs to beneficiaries on Saturday
Keys of 330 houses will be handed over to beneficiaries of Ambedkar Nagar by MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday
Hyderabad: In the coming two weeks, 784 families from economically weaker sections will get new houses built under the State government’s flagship programme, the 2 BHK housing scheme.
Among them, 330 families will be handed over the keys of lake view flats located in Ambedkar Nagar, Hussain Sagar on Saturday morning. According to GHMC officials, the keys will be handed over to beneficiaries of Ambedkar Nagar by Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao. The 330 flats are spread across seven blocks, with the housing society having 10 lifts and 26 shops too. The total project cost was Rs 28. 05 lakh and construction cost of each dwelling unit is Rs 8.50 lakh.
Other housing societies scheduled for inauguration are Potti Sriramulu Nagar 2BHK Housing colony, GY Reddy Compound 2BHK Housing Colony and Golla Komaraiah Colony 2BHK Housing colony. All these housing societies located in Sanathnagar Assembly segment will be inaugurated on June 28, July 1 and July 5 respectively. The four housing societies consisting of 784 flats were built with Rs 58.50 crore.
