Rajanna-Sircilla: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the Ambedkar Bhavan in Sircilla, on the occasion of the 131th birth anniversary of Ambedkar on Thursday.
The building has been constructed with all modern facilities in Sircilla town, in a sprawling area of one acre of land on Sircilla-Vemulawada bypass road near the government nursing college at an expenditure of Rs 2 crore by SC Development department.
The G 1 storey building has a multipurpose hall, kitchen, VIP lounge, office room, and seminar hall on the ground floor. A 100-seater auditorium was developed on the first floor.
Besides seminars and meetings, marriages and other functions could also be organized in the auditorium. Rama Rao who is also local MLA, took the initiative for the construction of modern Ambedkar Bhavan in Sircilla.
