KTR to inaugurate Uppal Theme Park, lay foundation for flyover on Friday
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday will inaugurate the Uppal Theme Park and Vaikunta Dhamam at Mallapur and also lay the foundation stone for the Uppal flyover being built under Strategic Road Development Plan, a sewerage treatment plant in Nacharam and Strategic Nala Development Programme works in Ramanthapur.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation developed a one of its kind theme park at Uppal junction for people of all age groups. A walking track, a selfie point, a tree house with slides for kids, a washroom and two fountains are some of the features in the park.
The other facility i.e Vaikunta Dhamam has also been built by the civic body and has bathrooms, an admin block, ash storage room, security room, two ceremonial yards, three waiting halls and three platforms for pyres.
Meanwhile, the SNDP works at Ramanthapur will address the urban flooding issues in that area and its vicinities and the STP will treat liquid waste.
