Khammam: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao is scheduled to visit the district on April 16. In a statement here on Tuesday Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar informed that Rama Rao will launch various development works in Khammam city and will address a public meeting at Lakaram Tank Bund in the evening hours of the day.
He will inaugurate Bruhat Palle Prakruthi Vanam (SUDA Park) at Raghunadhapalem village, double bedroom at KCR Towers, Tekulapalli, newly constructed footpath at Government Hospital, Municipal building at Gattaiah Centre and flag off a fleet of 10 tractors and five auto rickshaws sanctioned to Khammam Municipal Corporation for garbage collection.
Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant at Danavaigudem, newly constructed Vaikuntha Dhamam at Prakash Nagar, cable-stayed suspension bridge at Lakaram Tank Bund, musical fountain and LED lighting will also be inaugurated by Rama Rao. He will also lay the foundation stone for construction work of Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Srinivasa Nagar and Amphitheatre at Lakaram Tank Bund, Ajay Kumar informed. He called upon public representatives and party ranks to attend the events in large numbers and make Rama Rao’s tour to the district a success.
