KTR unveils unique handloom shawl featuring QR code on Telangana history

Hyderabad: BRS Working President and former Minister K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday unveiled a specially designed handloom shawl embedded with a QR code at his Nandi Nagar residence today.
The innovative shawl, woven by renowned weaver Nalla Vijay Kumar from Sircilla, highlights Telangana’s rich history, prominent temples, iconic structures, traditions, and the landmark achievements of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, including the Mission Bhagiratha and Kaleshwaram projects.
The QR code woven into the shawl symbolizes the transition from traditional ties, ‘pogu bandham’ to digital connections, ‘phone bandham’,” allowing users to scan it for detailed information on Telangana’s cultural heritage and developmental milestones.
Rama Rao commended Nalla Vijay Kumar for his exceptional craftsmanship and creativity. He praised him for showcasing the greatness of Telangana through this unique handloom creation. The event was attended by several prominent leaders, including Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra, party General Secretary Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy, senior leader Johnson Naik, and others.
