Hyderabad: Industries and IT Minister KT Rama Rao urged the members of ITServe Alliance to explore investment opportunities in Tier 2 cities in Telangana and assured of all help to the prospective investors.
ITServe Alliance is a non-profit organisation consisting of more than 1400 member companies in IT Staffing and Services Sector. It has 19 Chapters in 22 States across USA. Total revenue of member companies is $10 billion and these companies provide employment to 1,00,000 skilled IT specialists.
He addressed a group of over 250 members of the ITServe Alliance on ‘IT Investments in Telangana” in a meeting held at San Jose Wednesday.
Rama Rao gave a detailed overview of the journey of Telangana State in the last seven years. Telangana has become the most successful startup of the country under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
He also informed the audience about the series of steps taken by Telangana Government to overcome power deficit and water shortage in the State.
“We have brought in the Growth in Dispersion Policy and are also promoting IT in Tier 2 cities to reduce the burden on Hyderabad city” said Rama Rao adding that the State is creating plug and play infrastructure in Tier 2 cities including Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Siddipet, Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar.
