Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao visited senior BRS worker Surender from Musheerabad, who has been battling cancer for the past several years. He extended financial assistance for Surender’s treatment and lauded his commitment to the party.
Surender’s son Umashankar had earlier appealed to Rama Rao through social media, stating that his father had been associated with the party since 2001 after being inspired by BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, and had continued to work for the party despite ill health.
Responding to the appeal, the BRS working president assured that he would meet Surender soon and, on Sunday, he visited the hospital in Musheerabad and fulfilled his promise. He inquired about Surender’s health condition and wished him a speedy recovery.
