Karimnagar: BRS working president KT Rama Rao visited a woman constable Padmaja, who was injured during a BRS rally held in the town on Sunday.

BRS activists gave a warm reception to Rama Rao when he arrived at the town to participate in the erstwhile Karimnagar district party workers meeting at the V Convention centre on Bommakal bypass road.

After receiving Rama Rao, the local leaders took out a huge bike rally from Ramnagar to V Convention. While participating in the rally, one Srikanth accidentally hit Padmaja with his bike while she was on duty near the venue.

One of her legs got fractured as the speeding bike hit her. Other police personnel shifted her to a private hospital in the town. Knowing about the incident, Rama Rao visited Padmaja in the hospital and comforted her. The BRS working president promised all support to her.
