Khammam: IT and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao’s visit to Khammam scheduled on Monday has been postponed. It might be noted that as per earlier schedule, the IT Minister was supposed to inaugurate a cable-stayed suspension bridge at Lakaram tank in Khammam, lay the foundation stone of Tribal Welfare Residential School at Raghunathapalem and for a sewerage treatment plant at Prakash Nagar and to inaugurate a FSTP at Danavaigudem on Jan 2 (Monday).
In a statement here on Saturday, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar stated that Rama Rao’s visit to the district was deferred to January 4, on which he would inaugurate and launch the above development works. District Collector VP Gautham has already held a meeting with the district officials to review the arrangements for Minister Rama Rao’s visit in December last week. He directed the officials to be prepared with reports related to the progress of works in their respective departments.
