KU VC releases book written by University college principal Lal
Kakatiya University Vice Chancellor K Pratap Reddy remarked that water was a crucial component of life, serving as a universal solvent.
Warangal: Kakatiya University Vice Chancellor K Pratap Reddy released a book titled “The Water Spiritual Gender and Environmental Perspectives” , written by University Campus College principal B Suresh Lal on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Pratap Reddy remarked that water was a crucial component of life, serving as a universal solvent. ” Water has the unique ability to dissolve a wide range of substances, from minerals in the soil to proteins in our cells. Its unique properties, such as polarity, enable it to dissolve many substances,making it a key player in regulating the earth, climate and maintaining the proper pH balance for cellular processes. Water & chemistry influences the physical, chemical,and biological processes that keep our planet and its inhabitants alive,”he said.
Lal said water had always been a significant part of the human story, shaping cultures and civilisations. As civilisations developed, their connection with water changed, with the Romans being exceptional engineers who constructed aqueducts and sewage systems to supply water to cities and dispose of waste, he added.
