Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Man arrested for allegedly beheading elderly man over liquor money
Police arrested a man for allegedly murdering a 65-year-old man at Rebbena railway station in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district after he reportedly refused to give him money to buy liquor. The accused was traced using CCTV footage and arrested the following day.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A man was arrested for allegedly hacking an elderly man to death after he refused to give money for purchasing liquor in Rebbana mandal centre recently.
Police said that Bogarapu Nagesh, an alcoholic from Kothaguda hamlet under Thungeda village was apprehended for murdering Masade Somaiah (65) of Parsanambala village at Rebbena railway station on Friday. He was nabbed with the help of CCTV camera footage and detained in Sirpur (T) railway station on Saturday.
During interrogations, Nagesh admitted to hacking Somaiah and severing his head. He disclosed that he noticed Somaiah carrying cash at a tea stall and thaty he had refused to lend money for liquor. On fateful day, Somaiah and his wife Karunabai were at the railway station to send off his daughter. A case was registered against him. Investigations have been taken up.
