KXIP owner Preity Zinta hails Shami

Mohammed Shami produced one of the best overs to restrict MI to five runs forcing a second Super Over which the KL Rahul-led side won eventually.

Hyderabad: Kings XI Punjab, who defeated Mumbai Indians in the second Super Over, remain in contention for playoffs berth after that victory. However, the match was a nail-biter with both teams scoring matching each other in the regular 20 overs. The first Super Over, where Kings XI Punjab managed just five runs, was a tough one defending just six runs against the likes of Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock.

But Mohammed Shami produced one of the best overs to restrict MI to five runs forcing a second Super Over which the KL Rahul-led side won eventually.
