Hyderabad: The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), L B Nagar, K Krishnaiah, was placed under suspension by the government following allegations of corruption and other irregularities.
According to sources, allegations of corruption and other irregularities had been pending against Krishnaiah for some time. Disciplinary action was reportedly initiated against him earlier, but the process could not be completed as he was undergoing treatment at a hospital.
After being discharged, Krishnaiah resumed duties as the L B Nagar ACP. However, the government has now placed him under suspension in connection with the allegations.
