Labourer arrested for murder at Hitec City railway station
A labourer, Pathlavath Ravi, was arrested for killing Neelam Rajesh at Hitec City railway station after a drunken quarrel on Sept 18. He struck Rajesh with a cement block and fled. GRP Hyderabad formed a special team and arrested him
Hyderabad: A labourer was arrested by the Government Railway Police Hyderabad for allegedly killing a man five days ago at Hitec City railway station.
The arrested Pathlavath Ravi (35), a resident of Balanagar and native of Wanaparthy, on September 18, following a quarrel with a person, Neelam Rajesh, had killed him by throwing a boulder on his head.
“Ravi and Rajesh had consumed liquor and quarrelled over a petty issue during which Ravi attacked Rajesh with a cement block on the head of Rajesh, leading to his death,” said GRP Hyderabad Inspector B Praveen Kumar.
After killing the man, Ravi escaped from the place. A special team of the government railway police caught him and arrested him.
