Labourer dies by suicide at Langer Houz over financial distress
A 30-year-old labourer from West Bengal died by suicide at Langer Houz in Hyderabad on Sunday, hanging himself from a tree. Police said financial distress may have led to the act

Hyderabad: A labourer died by suicide at Langer Houz in the city reportedly due to financial reasons on Sunday.
According to the Langer Houz police, the man, Surajit Mahato (30), a native of West Bengal, came to the city on Saturday in search of work. However, he hanged himself from a tree behind Shah Ghouse hotel at Tolichowki road in the early hours of Sunday.
The family of the man told the police that Surajit was facing financial problems and might have ended his life over it. A case is registered.
