Lake police foil suicide attempt by woman in Karimnagar
According to police, the lady, a resident of Mankammathota of Karimnagar town, reached LMD to end life by jumping into the waters due to family disputes.
Karimnagar: Lake Police rescued a 36-year-old woman, who tried to commit suicide by jumping into Lower Manair Dam on Sunday.
According to police, the lady, a resident of Mankammathota of Karimnagar town, reached LMD to end life by jumping into the waters due to family disputes as well as financial problems.
Patrol policemen found the lady moving in suspicious conditions and questioned her to learn that she was planning to kill herself.
Lake SI V Venkat Reddy summoned her husband and handed over the lady by giving counseling. Commissioner of Police, VB Kamalasan Reddy appreciated Lake Police for saving the life of woman.
