Mulugu: One of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the State, Laknavaram Lake, located about 65 km away from Warangal city in Govindraopet mandal of Mulugu district, is teeming with the tourists for the last 15 days. On Saturday alone, 3,000 people have visited the Lake, according to Kiran, Manager of TSTDC, Laknavaram Lake. While there are 26 rooms in the cottages built at the Lake, bookings for the rooms are not available due to heavy demand on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
“We are not accepting new online bookings as the rooms were booked till January 3,” Kiran added. Many visitors are reveling at the lake by taking rides in the speed boats and ‘jetty’ in the lake which has abundant water. On the other hand, children are also enjoying a lot by participating in various games and sports at the lake.
