Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Wednesday handed over plots to 17 property owners whose land were acquired for the construction of the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
The properties acquired were located in Srinagar village, Maheshwaram mandal in Ranga Reddy district and the new plots allocated are also located in the same village. A draw of lots was held at Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) office in Financial District and allotment letters were handed over the people.
The HMDA in a press release said that, out of the 160 properties acquired, 133 farmers were already handed over the plots and 17 were given plots on Wednesday. “The farmers thanked the State government for supporting them,” the press release said.
Officials of HGCL thanked the people who have supported the State government in land acquisition.
